OUR POLICIES

North-West Tigers Netball Club is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all players, coaches, officials, and spectators. Our Code of Conduct's outline the expectations and responsibilities of everyone involved in our club to ensure that netball remains a positive, enjoyable, and fair experience.

The Code promotes sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork, emphasising fair play, integrity, and encouragement both on and off the court. Players are expected to demonstrate respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials, while parents and spectators are encouraged to support in a positive and constructive manner. Coaches uphold ethical coaching practices, ensuring that all players receive equal opportunities to develop their skills in a supportive setting.

By following the Code of Conduct's, North-West Tigers Netball Club creates an environment where players can thrive, personal growth is encouraged, and the love of netball is nurtured. Our commitment to these values strengthens our club culture, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of all the lands and waters where netball is played throughout Victoria and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We also wish to recognise the tremendous contribution Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make to sport, and in particular netball in Victoria. We are committed to a journey of Reconciliation, working to break down barriers and ensuring equal opportunities for both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across our state.

Netball Victoria is a proudly diverse and inclusive organisation, that actively celebrates LGBT+ diversity, inclusion and pride within the sport of netball throughout Victoria.
